Design for Sustainability (D4S)

Approximately 70% of the environmental, social and financial impacts of a product are locked in at the design phase. Well-considered design is therefore crucial in achieving sustainable products. This is commonly referred to as design for sustainability (D4S).

PACIA's “D4S with Plastics” program provides the necessary strategies and resources to help you to achieve sustainable design. It also highlights the crucial role of collaboration between the design sector and industry. "D4S with Plastics" is a joint project between Sustainability Victoria and PACIA.
