Industry Measurement and Reporting
Measurement and reporting are critical elements of a sustainable and successful plastics and chemicals industry.
Regular data collection and analysis are essential to monitor the industry's progress across all areas of sustainability, and enable continual improvement. Further, industry reporting demonstrates the value that is gained as a result of PACIA's member programs and partnerships with government departments, agencies and stakeholders.
This work also ensures that the industry remains open, accountable and communicating progress - one of the eleven priority goals specified in the industry's Sustainability Leadership Framework.
PACIA produces a number of reports each year that measure and assess the industry's successes and sustainability performance, as detailed below.
PACIA National Plastics Recycling Survey
PACIA commissions yearly independent national surveys on consumption, use and recovery of plastics in Australia, as part of our strong commitment to action by industry, government and the public for sustainable plastics recovery and recycling.
PACIA Health and Safety Survey
The Annual PACIA Health and Safety Member Survey provides a succinct data set of industry performance in line with the PACIA's Sustainability Leadership Framework and industry's commitment to best practice health and safety.
