Direct Support for Victorian Members
Calling for Water Efficiencies! Round 6
PACIA members are fortunate to have access to free consultant review and advice for their sites, plus also access to capital funding thanks to support from the Victorian Government through the Department of Sustainability and Environment.
A number of PACIA members have taken advantage of this program since its inception in 2007 and PACIA strongly encourages others to come forward before the program ends.
With water prices doubling, variable quality and security of supply, now is the time to act. Register by Monday 18 July 2011 to participate using the below expression of interest (EOI) Form.
Services available now for Victorian members include:
1. Water efficiency reviews and recommendations for users between >4-120ML p/a
This program of free consultant support is available to companies using below or above 10ML pa who are keen to investigate and implement efficiencies and improvements in water use. We are flexible in providing support relevant to your company, and it could include:
• water audits
• options research and cost benefit analysis
• internal team workshops on behaviour change
• negotiations with third party on water sharing arrangements
• development of concept and functional design for equipment upgrade.
This program is ideal if you have identified efficiency actions within your site plan, business plan, or WaterMap or signed up to Support 155 and want some assistance to get water saving up the priority list and actioned.
2. Capital investment for water users >10ML p/a
Funds are available for equipment upgrade or new equipment, piping, etc to assist your company make a step change in water efficiency or cleaner production, where payback is >3yrs. Companies need not be above 10ML pa but significant improvements will be expected.
