Prepare 2030 Workshop Forum - Threats and Opportunities

The Plastics and Chemicals Industries Association is steering a path towards a sustainable future.

On April 22nd some of Australia’s best strategists outlined what they really think the future holds for Australian society and industry.

Four speakers and over 90 attendees assessed the future, the threats and opportunities involved and in four workshops discussed what they mean for Australia and our industry. This was an important day to plan for sustainable growth.

Attendees included CEO's of some of Australias largest manufacturers, supply chains, governments, researchers, educators and community groups - all engaged in creating a shared understanding of the threats and opportunities we will all face.

We are Preparing for 2030 identifying the right policies, programs and agreements enabling innovation, viability and sustainability of our industries and the health and sustainability of Australia.

Further detailled information about this important day will be progressively added to this website.

It is time for the world to shift. We are at a tipping point. All companies face a direct impact from decreasing natural resources, rising population and disruption from climate change. And what may be a subtle effect now will only become more intense over the next five to 10 years.
