Framework Implementation
PACIA offers a coordinated program to help our members integrate sustainability into the decision making processes of each business.
While many companies will tackle sustainability one issue at a time, for example, water, energy, health and safety, sustainability is a whole of business strategy and so PACIA offers targeted resources especially designed for the plastics and chemicals industry members.
With the support of our Sustainability Partners, PACIA offers members essential resources and support including:
- Team, executive and boardroom briefings on the PACIA Sustainability Leadership Framework
- Tailored training workshops to develop a sustainability strategy
- Programs for priority areas including water, energy, materials and health and safety
- Access to sustainability thought leaders, such as Dr Paul Tebo
- Newsletters, special events and networks
- Key issue summaries and latest global information
- Access to funding opportunities and essential funding information
- Our member only Business Toolkit - the essential on-line sustainability resource
PACIA's member only Network Meetings are the key forum to hear the latest insights on sustainability in the plastics and chemicals industries. Network Meetings feature presentations by PACIA members who are signatories to the Framework - showcasing their sustainability activities, effort and strategies. Special guests and government presenters provide the latest policy, program and funding information.
PACIA partners with key organisations, departments and agencies across Australia to support the implementation of the Sustainability Leadership Framework, and the development of the Framework was an outcome of the first Sustainability Covenant between PACIA and EPA Victoria.
"EPA Victoria is pleased to partner with PACIA in creating this Framework to help industry identify business opportunities presented by our carbon constrained future and deliver practical outcomes in terms of resource efficiency and waste reduction.” Mick Bourke, Chairman, EPA Victoria
PACIA encourages all of our members to actively engage with the Sustainability Leadership Framework. To sign on - or request more information please contact the Sustainability Team at PACIA on sustainability@pacia.org.au or (03)9429 0670.
